Notes: Staff Sergeant Auxier was a rifleman with Company C, 1st Battalion, 46th Infantry Regiment, 198th Infantry Brigade. On July 39, 1968, his company had taken night defensive positions a few miles northwest of Tam Ky, Quang Tin Province, South Vietnam. A helicopter was about to land when it exploded catching Staff Sergeant Auxier in the blast. His remains were not recovered.
