USMCR Captain Vietnam War Letter May 27, 1968

This letter was written by a USMCR Captain, who was with Company A, 9th Engineer Battalion, in Vietnam, May 27, 1968. He wrote all of his correspondence on postcards. From the letter.....

Another busy day. We continued work on the two bridges and put in a culvert that was blown. Things went along smoothly. A box of brownies would be most welcome as over here there is noting to eat between meals. Joi wrapped hers in a cellophane bag and they arrived nice and fresh. Tomorrow is another day so I had best get to bed. Only 138 to go now. Hope Charlie doesn’t hit tonight.

Love to all,
