Notes: Colonel Anderson was a member of the 25th Tactical Fighter Squadron, Ubon Air Field, Thailand. On October 6, 1972, he was the pilot of a McDonnell Douglas Phantom II Fighter (F-4E) on a mission northeast of Hanoi near Son Tay, North Vietnam. As he approached the target his aircraft was hit by hostile fire. He ejected and landed safely, but contact was lost. His remains were recovered on September 13, 1990.
