Notes: Lieutenant Colonel Allgood was a member of the Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 363, 9th Marine Amphibious Brigade. On March 26, 1968, he was flying in a Sikorsky Seahorse Utility Helicopter (UH-34D) transporting wounded marines to medical facilities. As his aircraft crossed the South China Sea in bad weather it crashed about three miles from Da Nang, South Vietnam killing him. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial. For more information see:
