Notes: Sergeant Alley was a member of the 601st Photographic Flight. On April 6, 1972, he was a photographer in a Siskorsky Sea Stallion Search and Rescue Helicopter (HH-53C) on a rescue mission of downed B-52 personnel near the Demilitarized Zone, South Vietnam. The aircraft was shot down landing on its side and burned. His remains were recovered on June 7, 1994. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
